How to Save Money While Shopping For the Holidays

Shopping for the holidays doesn’t always incite happiness. A recent survey done by BJ’s Wholesale Club found that 67% of moms were stressed about the sheer amount of money they would spend on just food this holiday season. That’s why I was so excited to receive a free 90-day membership to BJ’s so I could get everything I needed without worrying I overspent.

When you first walk in, you can’t help but noticed the holiday inflatables to decorate your front (or back) yard. I seriously considered getting the giant Darth Vader.

I was so happy to see how many cakes and cookies I could choose from, seeing as I have sweet teeth (instead of a sweet tooth, get it? Nevermind).

Aside from all the fun stuff, they provide a fantastic assortment of produce, meats, cold items (such as dairy and frozen), and party platters you can serve to your guests. No matter what you purchase, you are almost guaranteed to save money over going to the grocery store.

I know some people might feel buying in bulk means having an endless supply of something they will never need. You get a coupon book mailed to you every few weeks that increase the savings you receive, in addition to in-store coupons that will be added when you check out.
